Tree Exhibition
Tree Exhibition Area is divided in two zones, the World of Camphor and Oak and Fun for Varied Tree.
The World of Camphor and Oak plants a systematic collection of mid and low-elevation oak and camphor trees native to Taiwan to provide for forestry research, teaching practice and environmental education as well as preserving plant genetic diversity. Trees from the Lauraceae and Fagaceae families are dominant species in low- and mid-elevation broadleaf forests in Taiwan. Those species can be used in many areas that are closely to our daily lives. It is great time to learn more about these trees by looking through their rich bark textures, seeds capsules and foliage shapes.
Fun for Varied Tree displays native trees with colorful foliages and flowers that change their appearance with seasons and weather. Brilliantly colored blooms, varied leaf colors, and unique fruit shapes ensure a delight to the eyes all year around.
