Fushan is a hidden dense natural forest on the boarder of Wulai, Taipei and Yuanshan, Yilan. The aerial view of Fushan shows two python-like wriggly rivers. In the east, there is Tsuken Creek, a tributary of Lanyang River. In the west, there is Hahpen Creek, the upstream of Nanshih River. Fushan is located on the vicinity of these two creeks. Here the water flows in the silence of woods. Abundant rains harbors a variety of vegetation types. This subtropical moist evergreen broadleaf forest is an outdoor plant museum and bears life in continuous cycles. Amid the dense woods and mountain ranges, optimum habitats for wild animals are provided for.
Walking along the trail in the Botanical Garden, you might spot Formodan Reeve's Munjac and Formosan Macaque by chance. Under the shade of trees, you may spot a Bamboo partridge by your side.
